How a QR code works
A QR code encodes information (a link, text, WiFi credentials, etc.) into a pattern of modules that any phone camera can read. Unlike a short link, it doesn't need a connection to an external server — all the information can live directly inside the code itself.
The error correction level determines how much redundancy the code carries: a higher level (H) keeps the QR readable even if it's partially damaged or has a logo on top, but produces a denser pattern. For general use without a logo, "M" is a good balance.

Do the QR codes I generate expire?
No. The QR contains the information directly (or a fixed link you choose), so it doesn't depend on any external service and never expires.
What's the difference between PNG and SVG?
PNG is a pixel image, ideal for screens and social media. SVG is vector-based — it can be scaled up for large-format printing (posters, signage) without losing sharpness.
Can I add my logo to the center of the QR?
This version doesn't support a custom logo yet, but raising the error correction level to "H" leaves enough redundancy to add one later without breaking readability.
Does the WiFi code connect automatically?
Yes, most modern phones detect the WiFi format and offer to connect directly when scanned, without typing the password by hand.
