How merging PDFs works
This tool copies every page from each file, in the order they appear in your list, into a brand-new PDF document. Pages keep their original content — selectable text, images, formatting — because they're copied directly at the PDF structure level, not converted into images.
All the work is done by the pdf-lib library, loaded and run entirely in your browser. Your documents (which might hold sensitive information, like contracts or invoices) are never uploaded to a server.
Frequently asked questions
Does the text stay selectable after merging?
Yes. Pages are copied as-is, so text, links and image quality stay exactly the same as in the original files.
Can I merge password-protected PDFs?
PDFs encrypted with an open password can't be processed in the browser without that password. PDFs with editing restrictions (but no open password) usually work fine.
What order will the pages end up in?
The same order the files appear in the list, top to bottom. You can drag each file to reorder it before merging.
Is there a limit on file count?
There's no fixed limit, but very large documents or ones with many pages may be slower to process depending on your device's memory.
